Wordful Wednesday: Up and Down

I just had the craziest up-and-down time trying to get our little Bonus Baby to sleep. It was actually a pretty funny experience; funny enough that I sat down to blog about it after he finally zonked out. But as the story developed, it grew into the 700 words I’m allowed in my Sunday column. And when that happens, I figure it’s probably a good enough tale to save for publication as a column.

This one should run on Father’s Day, which is appropriate considering that Donnie played a humorous part in the events of the evening.

Anyway, all I can do now is hope and pray that Baby J sleeps through the rest of the night. And if he doesn’t, well…who can be mad when this is what I get to wake up to in the morning?
