Friday Fill-ins

1. For me, it was a week of self-sacrifice, of working-out, of feeling hungry. And what did I lose besides my mind? One measly pound. Pfffttbbbttt!

2. This weekend you will find me handing over far too much money for far too few groceries at my local supermarket.

3. Behind the sound of the wind in the trees, I heard my kids laughing and squealing outside.

4. Taking a month to explore Great Britain with my husband is something I always wanted to do.

5. When it was over, I thought, “Darn, those Healthy Choice meals are unsatisfying!”

6. We went swimming at our local public indoor pool last night, but I never felt alone. Because I wasn’t, not by a long shot. But we still had fun!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to Donnie’s homemade pizza, tomorrow my plans include shopping, and possibly attending a reunion of people who graduated from my high school during the 1980’s and Sunday, I want to go to church, then I’m taking the kids to the church’s Easter egg hunt and cookout, at which I’ll be painting faces. Fun times!

  1. I always enjoy your Friday Fill-ins! 🙂 And your comment about graduating in the 1980s…my husband (who is a year younger than me) likes to tease me by starting as many sentences as possible with “Let’s see–you graduated in the 80s, and I graduated in the 90s…” 😉 I hope you have a great weekend!
