My oldest son’s softball team is still in an age division where the coach pitches to his own team. Donnie has been this season’s pitcher, and he’s done a great job. Last night’s game was very exciting, and we were winning for most of it. But alas—the other team won by one run in the bottom of the last inning.
Anyway, as we walked back to the car after the game, little Eli seemed a bit star-struck and asked me, “Mom, do you like being married to a baseball player?” LOL!
Of course, I replied, “Yes,” then teased Donnie about being such a stud.
I should’ve told Eli to ask his father if he liked being married to a movie star. ‘Cause you know we’re just a family of superstars around here…. 😉
